“To go from a girl who couldn’t speak English to getting an MD/PhD and a Vanier scholarship, I feel like I’m living a dream,” she said with emotion. “I feel so incredibly privileged to have had this chance given to me by my parents, by Canada, really everyone involved in getting me here.”
Let’s shout it from the roof tops! Shahnaza’s recent, and much deserved, achievement of becoming a Vanier scholar has made it into the press. While you may have seen our recent post congratulating TCNLab team member Shahnaza, what you might not know is her remarkable story! (And the privilege the TCNLab has to be a part of it!)
