Within the span of one week, lab members have attended two different conferences. The first, Southern Ontario Neuroscience Associate (SONA) Annual Meeting, held on May 3, 2024 at the University of Waterloo. Over 300 individuals from all over Ontario to share and celebrate advances in neuroscience. Among them were post-doctoral researcher, Paul Sheppard, who presented both a poster and a talk, and graduate students Ashlyn Hersey and Cadence Opoka. In addition, undergraduate lab member Thu Pham presented her undergraduate research project! We are so proud of their hard work, and congratulate Ashlyn on winning the Master’s student poster prize!

The second conference was held on May 7th, and graduate student Samina Panjwani presented her work at the London Health Research Day 2024. Regarding her poster session, she said “Yeah it was fun! Very busy!”
