On June 26th, several TCNLab members participated in Robarts Research Retreat. One of our newest lab members, undergraduate student Katherine Chen working closely with PhD candidate Olivia Ghosh-Swaby, presented a poster on “resistance exercise impact on neurogenesis and inflammation in diet-induced diabetic mice models” as well as won one of the “best pitch presentations” from the afternoon session!
Two post-doctoral research associates, Daniel Palmer and Meira Machado, served as poster session judges in the morning. Following judging, Meira presented her own poster on “22q11.2 (Del 3.0) microdeletion syndrome mice replicate attention deficits observed in schizophrenia” in the afternoon session.
Another successful event that was enjoyed by the lab!
